Welcome New Patients!

Both Dr. Wedberg and Nurse Practitioner Marcy Thornton are accepting new patients as preferred providers on many PPO plans, in addition to accepting indemnity insurance and private pay patients.

About Our Office

We recognize that your time is valuable, and therefore every attempt is made to schedule appointments in such a way that waiting is kept to a minimum. Should an emergency interrupt our schedule, we regret any delay or inconvenience this may cause you. Our office accepts most major insurance plans, and our billing manager will be happy to discuss individual payment arrangements with you. Please contact us to schedule an appointment.

Emergencies

If you are experiencing a truly urgent problem that cannot wait until normal office hours, call (619) 220-0999 and follow the instructions to have Dr. Wedberg or the covering physician on call paged. All non-urgent issues, lab results, appointment details and non-emergency prescription requests are to be handled when the office is open.

If you cannot make your appointment

Please call (619) 220-0999 to let us know if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment. A minimum of 24 hours notice of a cancellation is strongly requested so that another patient can be seen during that time. No shows without a reasonable explanation will be charged a $50.00 fee.

Insurance/Payments

Payment for medical services rendered include cash, credit card and personal check. For a list of PPOs for which we are preferred providers, please contact Denise Maestas, our Business Office Manager, at (619) 220-0999. Medicare coverage is accepted for established patients only.
