Bone Density Testing Our in-office, state-of-the-art diagnostic Dexa Scan is a painless, non-invasive test which takes about ten minutes to complete. This procedure is performed open-air and delivers only a very minimal amount of radiation. The scan measures bone mineral density (BMD) in areas of the body that are most prone to fracture, such as the spine and hip. Low BMD is felt to be a good predictor of fracture risk and is the method by which osteoporosis and its precursor are diagnosed.

Weight Management Services

Nurse Practitioner Marcy Thornton and Dr. Wedberg offer a safe, effective, and individually tailored weight reduction program. Various prescription medications are available which are well-tolerated and proven over time. Medication, plus a reasonable exercise regimen, will help you get started on a lifelong healthier lifestyle. Appointments are required monthly or bi-monthly and are very affordable. This service is not covered by insurance.

Pharmacy Line For prescription refills, first check your bottle to see if any refills remain. If not, please call your pharmacy directly and our office will be contacted. For any other prescription issues, please contact us. Generally, your request will be handled within 24 hours.

Pap-sure Test

Our providers offer a state-of-the-art addition to the traditional pap smear, called the pap-sure. It consists of a small light source which is attached to the speculum and the use of a hand held magnifier. This procedure adds less than a minute to your examination and offers additional accuracy to the evaluation. This is not yet a covered benefit by insurance but costs only $40.
